DESCRIPTION
Features on the 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R ABS model include
the 16-valve, long-stroke 636cc inline-four DOHC engine, selectable full
and low engine power modes for road conditions, three-mode KTRC traction
control and Showa Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF-BP).
It also includes the F.C.C. clutch with assist and slipper functions and Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS) ABS is optional. The 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R ABS is also equipped with a cassette-type six-speed transmission and three-mode Kawasaki Traction Control system (KTRC). This allows for racetrack performance, sporty street riding and wheelspin elimination for particular road conditions or can be turned off if preferred. Along with the Showa Separate Function Fork – Big Piston (SFF-BP) it also utilizes the Kawasaki bottom-link Uni-Trak rear suspension that offers 5.3 inches of travel. The shock is gas charged with a spring preload that is adjustable, 25-position rebound damping and stepless compression damping.
