DESCRIPTION

The 2016 BMW R 1200 GS model has been equipped with a new opposed 1170cc four-stroke flat twin engine design delivering 125 hp, has combined air and liquid cooling. It also has been given a new wet clutch with anti-hopping feature and electromotive throttle actuator E-Gas.
The BMW R 1200 GS receives greater rigidity of its main frame and its enhanced Paralever and Telelever making it easier to handle on rough terrain. To round out the new features BMW has added an innovative, unique LED headlamp and cross spoke wheels. The Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) comes standard and is able to be switched off, while the seat height is adjustable to fit the rider.
