2016 Ducati XDiavel Motorcycle
DESCRIPTION
he 2016 Ducati XDiavel features belt final drive, the
forward-mounted controls have been punched out a bit further, and it sports
wide tracker-style bars. The 2016 XDiavel also sees a bigger engine, a
1262cc Ducati Testastretta L-Twin with Desmodromic Variable Timing.
While the
new engine has a bit longer stroke and higher compression ratio, the one thing
that sticks out the most about the new mill is max torque comes 3000 rpm
earlier, the engine of the XDiavel churning out 95.0 lb-ft @ 5000 rpm compared
to 96.3 lb-ft @ 8000 rpm from the prior 1198cc Diavel Testastretta. Ducati
eliminated the headlight shroud, side intakes, rerouted the pipes, and trimmed
down both the tail section and rear fender so more of the motorcycle’s
industrial design is on display. The technology package includes cornering ABS,
DTC, variable riding modes, cruise control, hands-free communication, a TFT
Dashboard and electric locks. Design also hypes its powerful set of LED lights.FEATURES
