DESCRIPTION

The Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro model is new for 2016 and comes with the Ducati Testastretta DVT (Desmodromic Variable Timing) EURO 4-approved 1198cc L-Twin engine, with a 106mm x 67.9mm bore and stroke and 12.5:1 compression ratio. Power output across the board is claimed at 160 horsepower at 9500 rpm and 100.3 lb-ft torque at 7500 rpm. Also included is a Bosch EFI system, elliptical throttle bodies with a diameter equivalent to 56mm and Ride-by-Wire.

A six-speed transmission comes with a light action, wet, multiplate hydraulic clutch. The Enduro version comes with tubeless, spoked, aluminum wheels, 19 inches in the front and 17 inches out back, making it the only Multistrada in the line to not feature a 17 inch front and rear configuration. A Sachs 48mm fully adjustable USD fork out front and fully adjustable Sachs unit at the rear soak up the rough stuff, but are given a high-tech bump thanks to the inclusion of electronic compression and rebound damping adjustment thanks to the Ducati Skyhook Suspension system.
